We've had a few relaxing weekends together as a family. Two weekends ago, we had planned to go canoeing, but Derek hurt his leg, so we ended up spending the morning in the ER so he could get fixed up. He sprained it playing basketball. After our ER trip, we went to our favorite pizza joint, Home Slice and then Hey Cupcake for dessert. Derek and I also went on a date to Uchi, one of our favorite date places and then on to yummy dessert at Eddie V.'s. So good and such a fun time together. This past weekend we went swimming and to dinner at our friend's house. On Saturday, we ate pancakes and nutella and then went canoeing on LadyBird Lake. After our lake time, we went to lunch at P. Terry's. We've also been hanging out in our new home and settling in. It was a relaxing weekend and fun time for us to be together.

It is hard for us readers to believe all of the eating out and dessert talk when we see the pictures of you guys and how fit you are. Do you go and just inhale the scents or do you actually eat?! Sounds like you are having an awesome summer. You guys look so happy.

Fun weekend! We went canoing on Sunday, it was fun after I realized we weren't going to tip over. The pictures of B&B in the canoe are really cute.
